Ken Graboys

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, The Chartis Group

Ken Graboys is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Chartis Group. His experience in healthcare consulting spans 25 years helping leading healthcare organizations and public health entities achieve their mission-critical imperatives. Mr. Graboys' work is concentrated in the areas of: economic and strategic planning, collaborative venture strategy and affiliations, network formation and organization and provider/physician/payor alignment.

Mr. Graboys is a frequent speaker at industry forums, board retreats and academic conferences. He has presented at ACHE, HFMA and CHIME conferences and lectured at the Yale University School of Management and Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management on topics including: Healthcare Reform, Strategic and Economic Planning, Healthcare Economic Policy and The Analytics of Decision Making in Healthcare. Mr. Graboys has been published in the Healthcare Financial Management Journal and is currently authoring a series of industry white papers on "Applied Economics in an Uncertain World."

Before founding The Chartis Group, Mr. Graboys was a Senior Partner and Managing Director at CSC Healthcare and its predecessor, APM Management Consultants. His professional experience also includes structuring healthcare trade programs between United States healthcare enterprises and the U.S.S.R while at the international strategy consulting firm Telesis, Inc.

From 1985 through 1987, Mr. Graboys served with the United States Peace Corps and the African Food Systems Initiative in Mauritania, West Africa establishing and maintaining feeding centers.

Mr. Graboys serves, and has served, on several civic and business organization boards including the RAND Health, the Strategic Planning Committee of the Advocate Health Boards of Directors, Press-Ganey, Heart Healers International, and the Chartis Foundation.

He holds a Master of Public and Private Management, earned with recognition, from the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in social policy from Northwestern University.
