Six Cents Initiative

Circle K International's—Six Cents Initiative

CKI's Six Cents Initiative—a campaign to help provide the most basic element to life: clean water and sanitation—continues.

The lack of clean, safe drinking water is estimated to kill 4,500 children per day.

CKI members help save a child by raising funds that will provide children with rehydrating salts they need to survive the diseases they often acquire by drinking contaminated waters. Funds raised will also meet other water and sanitation needs, such as water purification tablets and basic family water kits.

To date, CKI has raised an astounding $67,105.13!

*Originally titled "Six Cents" because the cost of UNICEF’s oral rehydrating salts was six cents. Please note that the cost of a packet of the lifesaving salts is now seven cents.
