UNICEF Kid Power Kicks Off in Boston

 

The U.S. Fund for UNICEF celebrated the Boston launch of UNICEF Kid Power with Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas, Boston School Superintendent John McDonough, President and CEO of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF Caryl Stern and participating students from the Paul A. Dever Elementary School On March 24th.

UNICEF Kid Power is a movement powered by kids.  Kid Power uses the world's first wearable-for-good to get kids physically active to help their peers.  Kids have the power to end global malnutrition by getting active to save lives!

In the Boston area, nearly 4,200 students from 29 schools are participating in the month-long program and raising funds so that UNICEF can provide lifesaving nutrition to severely malnourished children around the world.

 

 

The event at the Paul A. Dever Elementary School featured students grades 3-5 engaging in fitness activities with Isaiah Thomas.
