IKEA Offers Gifts that Give Back

Mr. Broccoli and his friends are back this year to celebrate IKEA’s annual "Soft Toys for Education" collection, and they're joined by three new forest friends from the VANDRING series. From November 4 to December 29, for every purchase from the “Soft Toys for Education Campaign” collection, the IKEA Foundation will donate one euro (approximately $1.30) to support UNICEF’s and Save the Children’s global education programs.
Mr. Broccoli and his friends are back this year to celebrate IKEA’s annual "Soft Toys for Education" collection. New to the soft toys family this year are forest friends from the VANDRING series (including a hedgehog, a bear and an owl hand puppet) that encourage caring about our environment. Plus, they’re characters in the IKEA FAMILY children’s book, The Hedgehog Leaves Home, written by Ulf Stark and illustrated by Ann-Cathrine. For every purchase from the “Soft Toys for Education Campaign” collection from November 4 to December 29, the IKEA Foundation will donate one euro (approximately $1.30) to support UNICEF’s and Save the Children’s global education programs, including UNICEF’s Schools for Africa initiative. Since 2003, IKEA Soft Toys for Education has raised more than $61.75 million through this campaign, providing a quality education for more than 8 million children in 40 different countries.
