Afghanistan Girls' Education (2004)

Following six years of strict Taliban rule, children, particularly girls, were eager to return to school and begin learning again.  Education for girls leads to greater stability for families and greater economic security on a broad scale.  This video demonstrates UNICEF’s unique reach and resolve in providing whatever is necessary for children to receive an education.
