On January 26, 2010, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon met with Bang Sook-ja, President of the Global Children Foundation (GCF).  The GCF provided $30,000 to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF to support UNICEF’s emergency activities in Haiti following the recent earthquake.

We are grateful to our NGO partners for their generous support of UNICEF's relief efforts on behalf of the millions of children and families struggling to survive in the aftermath of the January 12 earthquake in Haiti.
