The UPS Foundation has been a strong supporter of UNICEF's emergency relief work through grants toward "School-in-a-Box" education programs since 2001.

Each pre-packed school-in-a-box kit contains classroom supplies for up to 80 students.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, UPS trucked school-in-a-box and recreation kits free of charge to U.S. Fund for UNICEF partner organizations in several states.

UPS has also awarded grants to support Mozambique flood relief and general emergency programs to help children caught in disaster situations around the world.
