American Airlines has been a UNICEF supporter since 1994 through Change for Good®, a global partnership between UNICEF and the international airline industry which has raised nearly $90 million.

Change for Good®

The Change for Good® program converts passengers' U.S. and foreign currency into lifesaving services for the world's most vulnerable children.

At American Airlines, "Champions for Children," led enthusiastically by volunteer Flight Attendants on select international flights, and supported by dedicated Admirals Club Representative and other volunteers on the ground company-wide, dedicate a portion of their time during their working hours to collect contributions of foreign and domestic currency from American's customers.  Champions for Children have raised almost $4 million through the Change for Good program on American Airlines since the program began.
