American Airlines has been a UNICEF supporter since 1994 through Change for Good®, a global partnership between UNICEF and the international airline industry which has raised nearly $90 million.

Change for Good®

The Change for Good® program converts passengers' U.S. and foreign currency into lifesaving services for the world's most vulnerable children.

Throughout the American Airlines organization, volunteers known as "Champions for Children" volunteer their time during their working hours to collect in-flight contributions of foreign and domestic currency. American Airlines' Champions for Children have raised almost $3 million since the program began.  American's Admirals Club and Flagship Lounge personnel at select locations also collect contributions from American's passengers.
