Giorgio Armani Fragrances
For the sixth year, Giorgio Armani Fragrances returned as national partner of the UNICEF Tap Project through its “Acqua for Life” campaign. The company donated 100% of profits (equal to approximately 10% of the retail sales price) for each Acqua for Life Acqua di Giò limited edition, and $5 for each Acqua for Life Acqua di Gioia gift set and each Acqua di Giò and Acqua di Gioia perfume spray or cologne purchased in the U.S. from March 1-31, 2015, to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.
In addition, the company donated the funding equivalent of one day of water for a child in need--for every 15 minutes a user spent not using his/her cell phone through the UNICEF Tap Project mobile web application, up to $100,000, from March 1-April 30, 2015, to support UNICEF water and sanitation programs.
Giorgio Armani Fragrances made a minimum guaranteed donation of $500,000 from all Acqua for Life promotions during this period. In addition, Giorgio Armani Parfums donated $1 to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF for each Acqua for Life Bracelet with sample fragrance purchased from March 1, 2015, to June 30, 2015. The company has donated more than $2.8 million since 2010 to support the UNICEF Tap Project.*
