A Simple Way to Increase Your Impact

If you plan to make a donation to support UNICEF, here's a tip: You may be able to double (or even triple) the impact of your support — if your employer matches gifts to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF! Many companies also match donations of spouses, retirees and board members.

Here are a few simple steps so you can double the value of your recent gift to UNICEF:

1. Check the list below to see if your company is one of the many that match employee contributions to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and pick-up a matching gift form from your local human resources department. (If you don't find your company below, as your human resources department.) 
2. Fill out and sign the employee section of the matching gift form.  Our tax ID number is 13-1760110.
3. Send your matching gift form to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, Attn: Matching Gift Program, 125 Maiden Lane, New York NY 10038.

The U.S. Fund will process your matching gift form and send it to your employer. Your employer sends its matching gift donation directly to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.

A matching gift from your employer will help UNICEF save the lives of twice as many children through programs that provide lifesaving medicine, better nutrition, clean water and sanitation, education and emergency relief.

If your employer doesn't currently match gifts to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, you can suggest that they do:

• UNICEF works to create a world fit for children, one that is free from poverty, disease, violence, exploitation and discrimination.
• Through low-cost, highly effective programs, UNICEF and its partners help to save the lives of 7 million children each year.
