Lena Clement has spent the last eight and a half years working for Chicago-based and national non-profits. She is currently the Manager of Corporate Relationships and Events at the Lupus Foundation of America, Illinois Chapter, where she manages five annual events. Since she began two years ago, Lena has increased event revenue by 67 percent and oversees every aspect of the events, including marketing, communications, fundraising and event satisfaction.
Prior to joining the Lupus Foundation, Lena worked at the March of Dimes where she managed two walkathons and various smaller events. In addition to her professional experience, she has volunteered at many local non-profits and currently serves on the Member Relations Committee of Community Health Charities of Illinois.
Lena holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has a love of foreign cultures and has traveled extensively and also lived abroad.
