William J. Horan
Bill Horan is Vice President for Development at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, where he oversees major, leadership and planned gifts, special events, and the U.S. Fund's five regional offices. He was previously senior director of development with Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons from 2003-10, where he was part of a team that raised $1 billion for the College's capital campaign.
His prior development experience includes leadership positions with the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, the Hospital for Joint Diseases, Calvary Hospital, the Children’s Blood Foundation, The General Hospital Center at Passaic (NJ), and his alma mater, Manhattan College, from which he received his B.A. and M.B.A. He received his J.D. from St. John's University. Bill lives in northern New Jersey with his wife, Sharon and sons, Sean and Patrick.
