Susan Kotcher

2009

Susan Kotcher joined the U.S. Fund for UNICEF as Vice President for Development in November 2008.  As the former Director of Major Gifts and Gift Planning for the International Rescue Committee (IRC), Susan and her team more than doubled giving over five years in order to increase life-saving programs for refugees. Susan also led donor trips to visit IRC's programs in Asia and Africa. Previously, Susan raised major, planned and political support for Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Barnard College. She started her career as an advocate and organizer for voting rights and civil rights campaigns. Susan trains and coaches professionals and volunteers on fundraising practices, and she teaches yoga and meditation.

Susan holds a BA from Barnard College and a Masters Degree from Columbia University, both in Political Science.
